Terms And Conditions

The terms used in “Podro Terms and Conditions” have the following detailed meanings:

Podro: All web-based and application-based services provided by Podro company, which include order management, parcel delivery, and other related services.

Application (App): The software belonging to Podro company, which users and the company’s business partners temporarily use based on the conditions of this document and private contracts signed by the company and users or business partners.

User: Any natural or legal entity, acting as a business owner, online store user, or buyer, who registers in Podro and uses Podro services through the website or application.

Seller: any natural or legal entity who sells its products using services provided by Podro. The seller can create and mange their own profile and store-front page based on their registration application.

Buyer (Customer): According to the e-commerce law, the final customer or consumer is any person who buys goods or services for purposes other than business or professional occupation.

Business Partners: Any natural or legal entity with access to a personalized portal for Podro services on a temporary basis based on a legal contract signed by Podro.

Service provider: Any legal entity that provides services to Podro and/or its users based on agreements signed by Podro.

PodroShop: A Podro platform for sales and delivery of the products promoted on an Instagram profile page.

PodroPin: A Podro platform for comparison and selection of different courier and postal services

Logging in to Podro website or application to use any of their features, such as personal profile, incentive schemes, videos, and other services provided by Podro at any given time means that the user is fully aware of and is accepting all of Podro’s terms and conditions and has enough information to use Podro services.

It should be noted that these terms and conditions replace all previously issued guidelines and regulations.

All regulations and procedures in Podro are in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all Podro store owners and users are obliged to comply with these laws. Podro holds the right to review and revise its regulations and procedures. In such cases, the changes will be published and updated on this page, and your continued use of Podro means that you are aware of, and agree with, and accept any changes in these rules.

In case any activity is found to be contradictory to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran or Podro’s terms and conditions, the company has the right to unilaterally terminate all its collaborations with the user, and the user has no right to object.

Users undertake to use the customer’s information which is obtained through Podro solely for the purpose of providing Podro services and within the framework of the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

If Podro or any of its business partners come to the conclusion that the presence of a user can endanger the security of the business environment, or the rights and security of customers or other users, they are allowed to block the account of the said user temporarily or permanently at their own discretion. In such a case, the user will not have the right to raise any claim or objection.

Users declare that they have read and accepted Podro’s privacy policy.

The user has no right to make any attempt to extract the source code of Podro software, including but not limited to decompiling, reverse engineering, or similar activities unless legally authorized. Also, the user has no right to do any activity in order to obtain illegal and unusual access to any part of Podro software.

The user undertakes that all the information they provide to Podro is accurate and correct, and the user will be held liable should their providing of any false information causes damage to other users, Podro, business partners, or any other third party.

The contact information of the Podro user must be accurate and correct so that in case of any problem, it will be possible to contact and follow up.

In case the user provides incorrect contact details that will disrupt or impede communications, they will be the sole responsible for all issues arising from this failure in communication.

The user is responsible for protecting their username and password. Should the user, intentionally or unintentionally, provide their user information to others, the user will be the sole responsible for the consequences.

Podro users who want to use Podro facilities as a sales and delivery tool for their Instagram pages must prove their full ownership of the said pages to Podro. (How to verify IG page ownership)

If any misuse of Podroshop is detected, Podro has the right to terminate the user’s service without notifying the store owner.

Podro users are required to register their banking information accurately and correctly in Podro. If there is any discrepancy between the bank and personal information, Podro is not liable for settling accounts with the store.

Selling any type of illegal products, including alcoholic beverages, drugs, weapons, or other objects and devices that are impermissible according to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran through Podro is strictly prohibited without any exception.

The sellers are solely responsible for the quality, price, content, conditions of their products as well as after-sales services of the products sold using Podro.

The sellers are obliged to control the inventory of the goods that they display in their Podroshop. Podro has no responsibility for inventory management or supply of the sellers’ goods.

Users are not allowed to sell the discount vouchers provided by Podro to others, except by obtaining official permission from Podro.

Discount vouchers will not be usable after the expiration date. If the discount voucher provided by Podro (which was provided without payment by the customer) expires, the customer has no right to object.

The payment for the sold goods will not be made until the goods are entrusted to Podro’s pick-up service provider.

The payment for the goods will be automatically made to the seller’s account after Podro verifies the store’s qualification.

Store’s qualification verification by Podro is done upon:

  • Successful delivery of the goods using Podro services and receiving non-discrepancy confirmation from the customer
  • Order delivery confirmation by the buyer
  • Non-discrepancy of the shipments sent by the seller

Podro service users undertake not to use Podro services to move goods that are prohibited based on the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sharia, or social norms.

Users are not allowed to put illegal items such as alcoholic beverages, drugs, weapons, or other items and devices that are impermissible according to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their packages.

The user undertakes to inform Podro before courier’s arrival if the shipment contains unusual, unconventional, or non-standard goods.

In case of shipping any prohibited item as per the descriptions in clauses 8 and 9, the sending party (seller) is liable to compensate any damages caused to Podro, its business partners, or any third party.

Podro’s services are provided in partnership with its business partners, over whom Podro has no control. Therefore, users accept that these services have their own terms and conditions and Podro is not responsible for these regulations whatsoever.

Users accept that based on Podro’s terms of use it is not possible to refund the service fees paid to the company or its business partners. Also, the company and its partners investigate accounting discrepancy claims only if they are submitted within the first 48 hours after payment. Therefore, users should inform the company and its partners on such matters within the first 48 hours.

The cost of service is determined by the company or its business partner prior to submitting any order, and since the user has the right to not to submit any order in Podro system, placing an order is considered as accepting the cost and commitment to payment. Subsequently, by doing so, the user authorizes Podro to demand and collect the amounts indebted in relation to the service requested by the user from the user’s credit account (in PodroShop).

Payment for services and other related costs can be done only through the methods specified by Podro. These methods include payment through account credit (available in the user account), Podro wallet or other wallets used by Podro, online payment through the banking payment gateway used by Podro, and cash payment on collection or upon delivery of the shipment.

The payment methods are limited to the above-mentioned items and any other methods such as direct transfer, bartering, clearing, etc. are not approved by the company. (Unless an official approval is obtained from the company)

Users accept that the cost of the services announced by the company or its business partners, is calculated based on the information provided by the user, and in case of any changes in factors such as weight, origin, destination, time, service provider, etc., the final cost will be adjusted accordingly.

Users commit to paying Podro for the services it provides, regardless of any possible problems related to online payment in the Podro system. If payment through the software is not possible due to any kind of technical problems, still the user is obliged to pay the cost of the services. In such cases, the company’s call center might propose other payment methods to proceed with the customer’s order.

The user agrees to use Podro services only to move goods through its business partners and refrain from shipping any living things.

Podro’s or its partner’s delivery personnel would try to deliver to the receiver’s address only twice.

Shipment return is done based on postal services’ regulations.

Shipment packaging must be in accordance with the postal services’ regulations. (Packaging rules)

Podro agents and business partners are not allowed to collect shipments with non-standard or improper packaging.

In case of discrepancies in the weight or dimensions stated by the user with the actual package, the collecting agent has the right to decline to collect the shipment.

The user is obliged to correctly enter the dimensions, weight, and value of the sent goods. In case of any discrepancy, the user is responsible for all consequences (non-acceptance, return, etc.).

The maximum weight for a package to be collectible by Podro is 40kg and the maximum acceptable size for a package is 40x40x40 (length, width, and height in centimeters).

If the total dimensions and weight of the orders exceed the maximum volume and weight, the user is obliged to inform Podro before the arrival of the collecting agent.

All packages (under 20 pieces) that can be transported by Podro Motorcycle Fleet (in Tehran and Mashhad) will be collected by Podro Fleet and the collection agent will be responsible for affixing the bill of lading.

In case of loss or damage to the goods, the value declared by the user will be the criterion for payment of insurance compensation.

In case the shipment includes more than 20 packages, the bill of lading must be attached to the packages by the user. Otherwise, shipment collection will not be possible.
